To assist Pastor Fell, we have a group of “Stephen Ministers” who have been trained to provide Christian care to people during times of life crisis. A Stephen Minister will spend about an hour with you each week. We’ll listen to you, encourage you, and pray for you. This kind of care may not seem like much, but we’ve seen it change lives. This happens because God’s love and power work through the caring relationship between the Stephen Minister and you, the care receiver. We provide the care and God provides the cure.

Stephen Ministries

One reason United Methodists are able to accomplish great things is the church’s emphasis on “connectionalism.” It is common to hear United Methodist leaders speak of the denomination as “the connection.” This concept has been central to Methodism from its beginning.
