Celebrating Grace is a contemporary worship service held at 6:30 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month. Refreshments and fellowship follow the worship service.
The name tells the story. Celebrating Grace is an opportunity to praise God for a truly amazing and perfect gift – God’s Grace.
At every gathering, we praise God through song, prayer, and scripture. An inspirational talk, a witness, a devotional, or a clowning event is also included. Contemporary Christian music is provided by the Memorial Minstrels, our praise band.
Please bring your children, we want them to participate. Also, please invite along a neighbor or friend. Many of us now share in the blessings of Memorial because we once were invited.
We can think back on words that were spoken at the dedication of our Fellowship Hall – “If you build it, they will come.” And we have come, and we continue to grow in numbers and in love.
Praising God is very important in our lives. It is a pure and powerful way for us to express our love for God. We are also surprised at the affect praising God has in helping us with our own life challenges. Many times answers being provided by God are made clear during times of praise and fellowship with God and each other.
Come and worship with us at Celebrating Grace.
One reason United Methodists are able to accomplish great things is the church’s emphasis on “connectionalism.” It is common to hear United Methodist leaders speak of the denomination as “the connection.” This concept has been central to Methodism from its beginning.
