Pastor's Welcome

Memorial Church is a place where grace abounds. God's spirit of grace enthuses our life together with a sense of family. I invite you to come, experience and be adopted into the family of God at Memorial.

We believe that faith is strengthened when the church family participates in worship, fellowship, study and service.

Memorial's year around schedule for Sunday services is as follows:
Sunday School (with classes for all ages) begins at 9:15 a.m.;
worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. "Celebrating Grace" is our
contemporary service in the Fellowship Hall, 7:30 PM on the first
Sunday of each month during the school year. Special services are
held on Christmas Eve and during Holy Week.

Education is key to understanding God's love in our lives. Children
and youth follow a traditional curriculum. Adults move between
classes on varying topics. Come to classroom # 6 to learn what
classes are offered that day.

Memorial is a church family in service to each other and the community. We are a Stephen Ministry church. We join with others for Habitat for Humanity and Christmas in April building projects. Our youth sponsor Cattail Road for clean-up. Our building is in constant use, often hosting community and school activities.

Finally, you just need to wander our hallways on Sunday morning or come to dinner or festival to experience the fellowship we share.  Memorial is a place where grace abounds. It is a joyous place. And it is my joy to serve as its pastor.

About Us
One reason United Methodists are able to accomplish great things is the church’s emphasis on “connectionalism.” It is common to hear United Methodist leaders speak of the denomination as “the connection.” This concept has been central to Methodism from its beginning.
